Who are we?

About S4T/S4M

S4T/S4M is a small consultancy, training and representation company based in Belgium and owned by Karel OOMS. The company was set up at the end of 2008.

S4T/S4M specialises in destination strategy and marketing in linking individual companies to the destination’s strategy S4T/S4M is focusing both on leisure tourism organisations and companies as well as on companies/organisations involved in international meetings and incentives (MICE).

S4T/S4M is a flexible niche player offering an excellent price-quality ratio.

About Karel OOMS

Karel is a lawyer (international law) by education.

Since the early 80ies, he has been working in international tourism and MICE, most of that time for the Belgium/Flanders tourist office and the Belgium convention and incentive bureau. For that destination, Karel was based in Brussels, in the Netherlands, in China and in London.

He is a specialist in destination marketing and in MICE and a competent trainer/lecturer worldwide.

Karel has been lecturing parttime in the MASTER in TOURISM Program in Flanders/Belgium and lectures parttime at the VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Brugge.
